Cuputer popups? No explanation? Please give your best advice!!?

Under the bar line where you type in the website name thing, you can always type in www.w and it lists websites you been to or opened (like through google). for this it lists:


http://www.webkinz.com


http://www.wetv.com





and a few other website we've been to.





several times, like three to four. website that are inappropriate were listed. not one or two, but ten to twenty in a couple days. my brothers are seven and three, and they arent aloud on. my dad is only on there for his job at dick's sporting goods (hes the manager) and my older sister has her own laptop/ when my little sister is on, she is always on email, webkinz, funbrain, or dictionary.com for school. i know I havent been on any of these, and my mom doesnt know how to turn the moniter on! can someone go on our account and look things up? HELP!Cuputer popups? No explanation? Please give your best advice!!?
I don't really know what to say. Probably either someone hacked your computer (which is likely), your dad deletes the sites he's been to every week or so (this might mean your dad is the one looking at inappropriate sites), or your brother's are smart enough to delete the sites they've been to themselves. It's really easy to delete the website history, but I believe it's not temporary. So this means that most likely, you could find a way to recover that history. I'd let it go, because it might mean you can find out things you certainly do not want to find out.





edit: Well, if you are sure that your dad is definatly not like that and that your brothers aren't that computer saavy, you could download a spyware tracker (I now assume it's probably spyware). There are many out there that are free and will get rid of the spyware. Try searching google to find a free one or something that is low in cost. Also, if you have Windows Vista, it comes with Windows defender, which will get rid of spyware.

What you are refering to is the internet history. To clear on IE click on tools then deleate broser history. The problem should be solved after that if not please contact me!

if you look at your history you can typically see what time the sites were checked


to do that you just click on the bar that says history and then hit display.





it might be better to leave things a mystery though





personally i wouldn't want to know if my dad was looking at inappropriate sites.
