Please help interpreted the poem. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

This guy like me for 4 years. He have been waited for me because I am not ready for a relationship. We were in argument. We did not talked to each other for 4 months. We now talk again, but I don't want to give him all my heart as I used to. He wrote this poem last night. What do you think he means.

Big Swing

Category: Writing and Poetry

On the pack, up the hill.

Nothing but everything stands still.

A jump to some,

A walk to more.

Running to the finish he grabs hard and swings.

Staring at a careless window, hanging by a string. Please help interpreted the poem. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
1. First of all, you should talk with him about what this poem means if you think it says something THIS important about your relationship.

2. Any real man should tell you how he feels in plain words that he knows you will understand. Playing around, and not taking things seriously makes a mess of communication, and good communication is the key to a great relationship!

3. I think the poem says a lot of different things.

A: The entire poem sounds like a guy trying to make a big decision. ';On the pack, up the hill'; sounds like a journey, maybe through a relationship?

B: ';Nothing but everything stands still'; makes it seem like this journey is important, and causing so much thought that time is standing still.

C: ';A jump to some, a walk to more.'; Makes me think about the ';leap'; we sometimes take to be committed in relationships, but it sounds like the poet is making the point that sometimes the ';leap'; into a relationship is MORE than JUST the jump, it is also a ';walk'; through life together. The journey.

D: ';Running to the finish he grabs hard and swings'; I don't know of any games where you swing at the finish line, but it sounds like he's at the end of his journey here, the end of the decision making, and he has decided to go for it! He is swinging, taking that chance, going for it!

E: ';Staring at a careless window, hanging by a string.'; This is the part that makes the least sense to me, as an outsider. Maybe this is a reference to something that the two of you have talked about before? It sounds to me like, maybe after the swing, he hit a window? OR, maybe the object he was swinging for seems like it is barely holding on, so maybe he is not sure if YOU are as committed to him as he is to you at this point?

AGAIN, you should talk to him about this if you think it's that important, and have a GREAT day! Please help interpreted the poem. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
His poem is mainly trying to tell you that he done everything to be with you and waiting for you all this time. And in the end all he got to show for is you not giving him an answer. I do believe he is trying to pressure you and making you feeling guilty. Don't let that interfere with your decision making and I believe it is best to take it slow.
He thinks he's in love with you but he feels like you're stringing him along. He feels as though the relatonship is a goal worth struggling but you, on the other hand, are not interested in him as anything more than a friend. Tell him to watch his mixed metaphores (running to the finish he grabs hard and swings.) He's related this stuggle with sports so he feels as though he's competing with someone for your love.
its a lov poem about angels and stars and zombies
To me it seems like he's waiting for you to open up to him. To be his partner, his all, to enjoy the ride he's ready to take. Nothing but everything stands still ( the world may be moving but he sees nothing, just waiting for YOU to move) a jump tp some a walk to more ( people may tell him he's a fool to come back to you or he's moving too quick and needs to slow down, but he wants to go on this journey with you. And the last part og the poem ( he's determined and shows his strength nothing whatever happens he got you. And he's staring and staying at this window until you tell completley to leave you alone. Hope this helps :0)......ps I love his poem (he's inlove girl)
Obvious. He's a vandal and does not rhyme correctly.hill and still ok, swings and string, not really and some and more, no. He wants to break windows
Sounds like he's saying that he's waited for you for a long time and feels like he can't wait much longer.

';everything stands till'; - you've known each other for years but he feels like you're relationship has been ';standing still';, not growing like he wants it to.

';staring at a careless window'; might mean he feels like you view him carelessly, or that you don't care about the friendship or possible relationship you two have.

';hanging by a string'; almost certainly sounds like he's implying your friendship hangs by a string and that if you don't make a decision to ';give him all your heart as you used to'; he's moving on.

I know you only asked for an interpretation, but that seems like alot of pressure he's putting on you. Don't be forced to do something you don't want just because someone threatens to leave you otherwise.
life can be hard and can also be easy... not sure if this is right
You have to open up the communication lines. This is too vague to interpret. You might have to pull the truth out of him. The best way is to ask him. Trust him and he will trust you.
You'll never be happy with this guy.
