World of warcraft question and i want 2 know ur opinion (best advice gets best answer)??

i will start playing soon and i have played my cousin's profile for a while ive been a mage cuz i thought it would b fun to do massive damage and throw pyroblasts at ppl but now its boring and now i like to support people instead of doing dps cuz its boring to me now and i am sick of relying to alchemy and first aid, so pretty much i wanna try somthing new and so i want to know something, im going to try out a holy priest and i wanted 2 know which race is the best to be a newb priest? i wanna spec in holy and also want to know wut dicipline priests are good for

btw....a dont wanna b these races

human

troll

undead

unless you convince me otherwise

but i do like these

blood elf

dranei

night elf

also can u give me a decription on why u think that race is really good for a newb priest. thxWorld of warcraft question and i want 2 know ur opinion (best advice gets best answer)??
Since you have no desire to be Undead, go Draenei. Your racial, Gift of the Naeru, is very useful when you're in a pinch, and I'm quite sure they also acquire a very useful healing spell somewhere down the line. They also do, in fact, have cute swishy tails.

And Dicipline-specced priests are good for just about nothing. Dicipline is a good way to spend your talent points after you're finished with Holy, however it is not very good on its own.World of warcraft question and i want 2 know ur opinion (best advice gets best answer)??
Shamans are the best in my opinion. you get shadow wolf at lvl 20 which enables you to move 20% faster so u will be running faster than most people in ure group. also, they have good spells that can be cast on other players such as resurrect and heal. this class is very good for a person that doesn't want to get killed and doesn't have a complete handle on the game yet. To be a shaman you can be a draenai or a troll. since you don't like trolls, you can be a draenai which are great for getting a grip on the game since the alliance is filled with younger players(not necessarily younger people, people that are just starting the game) as a shaman you will want to be leather working and skinning because this will give you very good items, that you can use, later in the game. they also get armor that looks tight as heck.
draenei get fear ward (priest racial) and eveyone will love ya for it (tanks the most), that and the female draenei have cute swishy tails %26lt;_%26lt; %26gt;_%26gt;

bloodelves get a DoT i think (been a while) it's allright for solo/pvp stuff (shadow priest)
In the last patch, all priests now get Fear Ward. Draenei and Dwarves now get a new move called Chastise which is a Holy Damage + Incapcitation effect which is useful for running away, and very useful in PvP.

Undead and Night Elves arguably make the best Shadow Priests due to their class racials, which is the best spec for leveling to 70 and is very useful in PvP and endgame raiding.

Every other race are more or less the same. Blood Elves have some good racial skills but their priest racial is pretty poor. Humans and Trolls get a nice shield class racial.
Priest is fun, but you'll want to spec shadow for easier soloing; you can switch to holy or holy/disc later when you're running dungeons.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/race鈥?/a> is a great link that shows you the racial bonuses of all the classes. Based on the races you do like, blood elf would be your best bet because of their mana tap and arcane torrent abilities. (You already heal as a priest, so the draenei racial ability is kind of pointless. Night elf bonuses aren't very helpful to priests.) Humans would be better because of the spirit bonus; the other priest races aren't that big of a deal.
