Resume for International Organization job. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

For this particular job--I would like to add this section on my resume. What do you think? Please advice. If you would please help with the format and grammar. English is my second language. Thank you very much!

Assisted the Thai Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission plan and organize “A Taste of Thailand” Gala Dinner, a benefit for the post-tsunami support of schools and living facilities for the orphans in Thailand, summer 2005.





Organized and hosted “Women and Children in Japanese Society” Speech and Dinner, the guess speaker was First Secretary of the Consulate General of Japan in New York, fall 2005.

Your terms are too broad, they need to spell out what you did. I 'organized' my daughters wedding could mean I took care of every detail or it could mean I called a wedding planner and wrote a big check. Make your experience clear.


Your wording is very pleasant but too long. Make clear, effective statements without the 'flowers': how many assistants did the Thai Deputy Chief of Mission have? did you lead that team? what did you study at Harvard?
