Am I a bad friend? 10 pts to best advice.?

My ex and I broke up and he left me with a cell phone I put in my name for him. Since I'm in a contract and had to pay for it anyway, I gave it to my friend and told him to just use it after 9pm, text are free and we have free mobile to mobile.





Since he was getting a free cell phone and free service I didn't think those would be hard rules to follow. The 1st month he used almost all the daytime minutes. I told him not to use his phone before 9 anymore unless it was an emergency. The next month he downloaded $16 in ringtones and crap. He also continued to talk during peak hours.





Since I'm on a budget I got annoyed that he was costing me more money than I could afford. I'm thinking about taking the phone back but I don't want to be mean or hurt our friendship. What should I do?Am I a bad friend? 10 pts to best advice.?
I would warn him one more time and say that your gonna take it away if he doesnt stop. I know you kinda sound like a mother but Its YOUR money. It's the right thing to do weather your friend thinks so or not. They'll eventually see that you were right to take it away. He wont stay mad forever. I would give him a choice: He can take the phone over in his name or give it back to you.
he's using/taking advantage of you/your friendship. get the phone back ASAP.

He's taking advantage of you, take that phone back and kick his ***. Make him pay for the extra costs. Be straightforward..
you should get your phone back or tell him hello im not made out of money you know i have a budget and talk to him and tell him to pay half of it and if not just tell him that you are going to keep the phone instead and tell him a lie and that you lost yours so you need that one





1st of all i dnt even think you should be even b paying your friends cell phone bill even tho its your phone..





but its really mest up on how he b wasting all your mins and buying ringtones like tht when he knows that you are nice enough to give %26amp; pay for the cell phone .. your call
He is obviously taking advantage of you and you should not take this. You should definatly take the phone back and not be friends with him anymore because he is not a good friend to have. :) YOUR WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your friend doesn't sound like he is being very nice. If you have given him a phone to use only after nine and he is using it before that he is not listening to you and friends should listen that's what there for.





You have been kind enough to give him a phone that you could of sold and gotten cash for instead you are loosing money. Maybe you should talk to him and find out why he is using it before nine at night and if he doesn't have a good enough reason take it off him and if he doesn't want to he isn't a very good friend.
