Do you do this? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

When I was younger (a baby- to-8 years old) --I was addicted to my little green blanket--- I carried it with me and smell it all day long. Finally, my parents hided it from me. It was a big loss :(

I am now 22. I still love to smell clothes. For example, I still smell my blacket while I sleep. Before I go to work and school --I often say good bye to my blacket and smell it. Sometimes, my friends notices I smell my clothes after I wash and dry them.

What do you think? Do you have this issue? Please advice. Thank you.Do you do this? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
I love to smell clothes when I wash them and I wash my sheets/blanket often to have that fresh scent. I LOVE the smell of towels right after being washed.

I don't think it's something that I 'have' to do, I just like the smell and it's a habit to smell them. You don't want things to smell bad, and it's a comfort to have that nice, clean smell.

I don't think you are weird, really, except I don't say good-bye to my blanket or anything. But after the wash and dry thing, that's totally normal. I have seen a few people who do that.Do you do this? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
I personally like the ocasional smell of my blankets and clothes, they just make you feel comfy and relaxed because it is a nice comforting smell that reminds me of sleeping which means peacefullness and calmness and relaxation. I think it's fine to smell clothes and blankets if it makes your day brighter!
OMG i sooo had a little green blanket too!!! I always carried it with me! My parents didn't hide it though, it got drug across the ground soo much it got too dirty and they threw it away lol I was like Lynus on Charlie brown!!! haha

And yes still LOOOVE The smell of my clothes and blanket..now 21 :-)
Yea, I still love to smell things, when I was little, I would walk through the store opening everything to smell it, however, once it got me in trouble, I was trying to smell some laundry detergent and it was powder, it totally went up my nose and burned like you would not believe, I was trying to rinse it out of my nose and bubbles started coming out, it was so funny and I felt so stupid, however, to say now I only buy liquid laundry detergent, and I am more careful when I smell things. LOL
i always smell the clothes after they been washed and i smell the clothes my baby wears cuz they smell so fresh and clean
Hi

I had a blankie too - I have a photo of the blankie on the washing line and me standing underneath it sucking on the end when I was about 3! And yes I do love smells still. I love swapping pillows with my husband so that I can smell his, and when I am ill I cuddle someone's pyjamas or even my own nightie and it's very comforting. I love the smell of 'people' - not B.O. of course, just that intagible smell which separates the members of your family.

Look on it as a gift; extra sensory smelling! :-)
the only issue is that your not comfortable with the fact that you like your blanket

i have an animal that was my grabdfathers that still smells like his old cologne i smell it whenever i see it and it makes me feel like he just walked by
It's fine with you. I have a brother who must smell and hugged his pillow every night, without so he couldn't sleep. Only after he got married (28), he give up his ';Habit';
This sounds like a harmless little kink to me. Many people like their own smell, and it is in your clothes and blankets. Never mind, just don't let people watch you when you smell your clothes, it may look funny to them.
Almost anybody who does laundry knows the smell of clean sheets, the smell of a clean flannel shirt, or the smell of a clean blanket.

Perhaps you have a good sense of smell. It harms nothing, and if it pleases you, go ahead.
whatever floats ur boat.. and yes i do smell my clothes after i wash them..
you are in need of a boyfriend...asap
hmm.... maybe you have ocd with smelling things.... but i do like the smell of clean clothes after they get washed and sheets but i don't keep smelling them or other stuff afterwards.... but again if you do all that maybe it's ocd.... i really don't know lol
Hey I'm in the same boat. I love smelling clean clothes. My little kids think it's funny to smell the clean cloths too.

As long as you're not taking your 'blankie' along with you places, or smelling other people's clothing you're probably ok. Be a 'closet clothing sniffer' :)
Smell is very closely connected to memory, more so than anyother sense. I say it's a good thing that your taking in all these scents.
