Expat VS Local Staff? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

We have so many expats in my organization. They are getting much higher salary 3-5X more salary compare to local staff. They get housing allowance, transportation allowance, and better compensation.

I am working as a local staff. My work hour is 9:00-5:00. Most of times, I will get call on the weekend, early morning, night to assist my supervisor or co-wokers. Now, I am tired of this kind of treatment.

Please give me some advice on this. Thank you!Expat VS Local Staff? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Expats are getting paid more than local staff because they are more qualified and have more experience. If they didn't have these qualities then they wouldn't have been issued a work permit for Thailand right?

I'm sure your organization would much rather pay them local rates if they could, but because of their qualities they must pay them approprately. Life sucks i know!Expat VS Local Staff? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
My understanding is that expats usually are hired on as experts or provide direction and advice for organizations, or work in an upper management capacity. If that is the case where you are, they probably have a higher skill level or broader education than those who get paid less.

If you and a coworker have the exact same job and he or she is paid 3-5 times more ONLY because of expat status, that doesn't seem reasonable.
REWRITE your resume'!!!!

BEEF that resume` up, get support from superiors at the office, letters of recommendation and Put Together A Portfolio!!!

After you do that, either request a promotion, or apply for a position as a Expat...

Leave a positive paper trail. Top players might not be the most personable, but on paper the numbers speak for themselves. Best of luck to you.
But you didn't indicate if there is a difference in experience or educational level. Is there? If you have zero relevant work experience and those ex-pats have a decade of relevant work experience, why should you be paid the same? Now, if it is a situation that you and they have equal education and equal relevant work experience, that's a totally different situation. But I seem to remember from some of your prior questions that you recently graduated with an MA degree and are in your 20's.
I don't know a whole lot about this, but I think that the local staff should be paid the same as the expatriates. I think that the unfair salary is horrible. I can't tell you how to change this, but I can tell you that I'm on your side!
I understood that expats came not be hired to do jobs that can be done by thais. so their jobs must be considered management of some sort. all you can do is apply for one of their jobs or leave
Well no one is forcing you to work there. If you don't like what you do then quit or else be there and work like you are right now. That might be a bitter fact but a reality too.
Launch a complain in Royal Thai labour department.
