Okay, this is really weird:





But this guy that I've liked for a really long time seems to be avoiding me on purpose.





1. Whenever I try to say ';hey whats up'; to him he quickly turns his head the other way.


2.He is best friends with my brother.


3. I sent a friend request to him on facebook, but he ignored it. However, he accepted all my other friend's facebook friend requests.


4. Whenever I am around him he stops talking, and starts laughing. So whenever I want to make conversation with him, i cant jump into his convo because he doesnt say anything.


5. I am not at all pushy. I am shy to talk to him, so how can he be scared of me?





My friend has this theory that he is afraid of talking to me because my brother intimidates him and is overprotective of me....?

One of two things.. and JUST my opinion. Either your brother has threatened to kick his butt if he shows any interest in you.. OR the feeling just may not be mutual. He may not look at you the way you want him to at the moment. Don't push it. Playing ';hard to get'; and acting like you could care less if he talks to you or not may work better. Maybe he likes you too and your brother found out and threatened him. You should ask him what's going on. Send him a facebook message or something since he's constantly avoiding you.
